In Costa Rica, coffee built a nation. From the mid-1800s, oxcarts carried the harvest from the Central Valley over the mountains to the Pacific port of Puntarenas, a journey of ten to fifteen days. Each cart was built to sing its own song, a chime that rang out as the wheels turned. Today, UNESCO honors the oxcart tradition as Intangible Cultural Heritage.

How fresh will it be when it arrives?

Every bag is roasted to order in small batches and ships within 1–3 business days, usually the same day it’s roasted. It reaches you days from roasting, never from warehouse stock.

How many cups is a bag?

Each 12 oz bag makes about 30 cups.

How much is shipping, and how fast is it?

One flat rate, shown at checkout before you pay. We keep shipping separate rather than building it into our prices, so you always see exactly what you’re paying. We ship within the U.S. only, and most orders arrive 2–5 business days after they ship.

Can I skip, pause, or cancel my subscription?

Anytime. Skip a delivery, pause, change your coffee, or cancel from your account, at least 24 hours before your next renewal. No fees, no commitment.

What if I don’t love it?

Your first order is covered by our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If it isn’t for you, email us within 30 days of delivery for a refund of the coffee. There’s no need to send it back. Shipping fees are non-refundable.
